This new publication with the original title "Drum de fier prin praf de pu?c?" [Iron Railway Fueled by Gunpowder] is more than a book, it's a stage of life, not only for the author and dedicated railroader Paul Bra?canu from Vatra Dornei, but a discovery for all those, who are fascinated by the checkered Bukovinian past. The railroad history in Bukovina on 526 -- partially color printed -- pages, more than 750 pictures, photographs, postcards, documents, drawings and, last but not least, a homage to Emanuel Alois Ziffer, the "Father of the Bukovinian Railroad System" and honorary citizen of Czernowitz.
